3. He is a real powerhouse

I feel like Barcelona fans will appreciate the image choice there. Thank me later.

I know that so far if you hadn’t seen Ndombele play and you were judging solely of my description, you’d think he is some kind of twinkle toes. You would be right in thinking so, however, do not get it mixed up.

Ndombele may be excellent with the ball at his feet but he is also just as good with the ball not at his feet. I am, of course, talking about his physical presence.

Ndombele is a man of frightening stature, to put it in the nicest way. He has a broad frame which may impact his stamina but it does have its strengths. He is able to put his body on the line and nine times out of ten, he is able to out-muscle his opponent off the ball.

Ndombele is and probably always will be an attack-orientated midfielder but he does his best to help the defence too. This will certainly help Barcelona out in the long-run, especially with Sergio Busquets ageing and drawing closer to retirement age.

There is no denying that there are areas for Ndombele to develop but ageing at 23 years old, this shouldn’t be an area of concern for Barcelona. He brings with him a multitude of strengths and it’s this level of versatility which makes signing him all the more worthwhile. He could even match up to Real Madrid’s rumoured signing Paul Pogba, but you didn’t hear that from me.
