Real Madrid locate Arsenal star as perfect solution to striker problems

Well well well, this signing could finally resolve the issues that Real Madrid have been facing in their strikers department…
If you’ve been following the Real Madrid news closely over the last few weeks, one pattern appears to emerge; the search for strikers. Whether this be down to Karim Benzema ageing or Luka Jovic simply being shocking in his first season remains to be seem. However, it’s clear that signing a striker is near the top of Florentino Perez’s checklist.
The obvious names have been thrown around; Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and even Lautaro Martinez recently. However, one name hadn’t been mentioned until now and it doesn’t surprise me he has finally been thrown into the works.
According to a report from Le10Sport, Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is now a hot topic of interest at Real Madrid. It’s thought they will pursue Aubameyang, who was previously a target of Barcelona’s if the likes of the aforementioned fall through.

I’m an Arsenal fan and I watch their games weekly without fail, even though, as you might have guessed, they frustrate the life out of me. Take it from me, Aubameyang is an exceptional player. I honestly think he is the best striker we’ve had since Robin van Persie, if you don’t count Alexis Sanchez as a striker of course.
That said, imagine me being salty about this news because I am. Although, if Real Madrid does manage to sign Aubameyang, they have a truly exceptional player on their hands.
He may be 30 but he is showing no signs of ageing. In fact, he seems to be scoring more and more as the years go on. Aubameyang has come up with some truly clutch moments for Arsenal and he’s even saved us in times where I didn’t think we had a chance. He’s that good.
Aubameyang’s playing style revolves around his speed and his ability to stretch the defence. You can often see him making the probing runs behind the defence, which calls upon quick-thinking from the midfielders to create the opening for him.
When Aubameyang is in front of goal, it’s like he has ice running through his veins. No, I mean it, he has great aplomb. He has been compared to the likes of Thierry Henry for his attacking style, which while a bit far-fetched, the comparisons can be drawn. That’s why he would be an excellent striker for Real Madrid.
