1. Philippe Coutinho

You win some, you lose some.

That’s certainly the moral of the story Barcelona can take from their signing of Philippe Coutinho. When he arrived from Liverpool, everybody rightfully expected big things but a few seasons down the line and it hasn’t been the case.

Now on loan at Bayern Munich, Coutinho is by no means performing badly, neither did he for in Spain, however he’s not showing any intent to be in Barcelona’s long-term future and they should respect this.

More from FC Barcelona

When a player doesn’t want to be at a club, not only does it impact them but it impacts everybody else in the dressing room. Given all that is going on behind the scenes with the Barcelona hierarchy, the last thing fans want to see is that bad energy to transcend to the dressing room.

If the season is set to continue, then the Blaugrana players must give all they can to secure the top spot they hold proudly. They can only do this with a positive atmosphere and the players to match.

Let’s hope for a positive summer transfer window, although it’s bound to be a weird one.
