4. Two youngsters have stolen the show

Arsenal played in the Europa League again this season. I know, boring right? However, it is the perfect competition to unearth some valuable hidden gems.

For the Gunners, this season, the two lucky recipients of a call-up to a regular spot in the first team were Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

Martinelli was notorious for his impressive goal-scoring form heading into the Coronavirus break, as he even scored against some of the bigger teams in Chelsea and Liverpool. We all remember that goal against Chelsea where he made N’Golo Kante look like Squillaci.

Bukayo Saka, on the other hand, has put in a shift at left-back at a time of need and he’s performed amazingly. His creative abilities have truly flourished and he is bound to be an important asset to Arsenal next season.

3. Two players have proved their worth in the XI

When it comes to the Gunners’ most important players this season, two names spring to mind. Their top goal-scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and safe goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Just a look at Aubameyang’s goal-scoring tally will tell you all you need to know, as he has scored some important goals this season, including against Manchester United. Bernd Leno, on the other hand, has been the saving grace. He has won points for the Gunners courtesy of his fine saves when it seemed like they didn’t deserve them.

Hats off to the aforementioned four players. Onto the next.
