There has never been bad blood between Arsene Wenger and Liverpool, and his recent comments only prove that…
There was a vulgar atmosphere towards the end of Arsene Wenger’s tenure but upon his departure from Arsenal, fans everywhere commemorated to honour the respect he has shown throughout his career. Those fans included Liverpool fans, of course.
Liverpool almost replicated Wenger’s biggest achievements this season. There was a time when Premier League fans thought they would genuinely go unbeaten, until their infamous shortcomings against Watford, of course.
But still, regardless of this, Klopp persevered and he got his side back on good form, although it did take a little while to do so as they suffered another fall in the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp’s men headed into the Coronavirus break within reaching distance of the Premier League title, so it would have been hard for them to take. A decision is still yet to made on what the outcome of this postponed Premier League season will be, but Arsene Wenger has offered Liverpool fans his congratulations.
According to a report from talkSPORT, the French manager stressed his opinion that “Liverpool are champions in everyone’s head.” He also spoke about Arsenal’s situation and how he hopes Mikel Arteta can represent everything the club stands for.
Of course, Wenger is right in referring to them as champions. Nobody can deny the emphatic work they’ve put in this season and they’ve made it difficult for other clubs to keep up. As an Arsenal fan, I must say, it would be unjust to not grant Liverpool the title.
I’m aware there are complications which come with that since you would have to apply the same rule in regards to promotion, relegation etc. However, the Reds would have every right to feel hard-done-by if they don’t get their hands on the trophy. They’ve been simply phenomenal this season.
Do you think Liverpool should be seen as the Premier League champions?
