Arsenal fans won’t like Lucas Torreira’s recent social media activity

Well well well, if there was ever any doubt from Arsenal fans over Lucas Torreira’s future, this pretty much confirms they have reason to panic…
When Lucas Torreira‘s agent came out to speak with TuttoMercatoWeb earlier, Arsenal fans began to panic. Pablo Bentancur claimed that he would have to speak with the club since Torreira would love a return to Italy one day. Although, he did acknowledge that the club had never mistreated his client before.
Lucas Torreira has been one of Arsenal’s best players since arriving and although he suffered a dip in form under Unai Emery, Mikel Arteta soon came in and fixed this, making him one of the more important first-team players under the new boss.
However, as is often the case with Arsenal’s star players, they now run the risk of losing him. Of course, he would raise a lot of funds given the current market situation, however, selling him is not ideal for the club nor the fans.

I know what you’re thinking. So what, right? Surely this a good thing, right? Wrong. On any other day, this would have been a GREAT thing. It would have shown that he’s content at the club. However, with the recent news that has come out, it seems completely untimely and as if the midfielder is already planning his farewell to the fans.
Torreira has developed into a destroyer and a type of midfielder that is difficult or impossible to come by in the modern transfer market. That said, the club would have a difficult time replacing Torreira, although they have been linked with a few midfielders this summer.
