Arsenal join the race for this controversial Juventus midfielder
By Kian Long
His name will not come as a surprise to Arsenal fans…
There are many names that appear more than once for Arsenal fans when it comes to transfer speculation. There are also, perhaps unfortunately, many names that appear more than one hundred times. Over the years, Adrien Rabiot has become one of those names.
Because of this, I have fallen in the trap of signing Rabiot many times in my Arsenal career mode. Don’t do it, by the way, he seems to get worse every time. This is, of course, a different tale to the real-life Rabiot though, since he is immensely talented.
According to a new report from Calciomercato, Arsenal are yet again showing an interest in the Juventus midfielder, as they have joined the race which includes Everton and Manchester United.

Adrien Rabiot is deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus. This is by no means indicative of his talent and ability, though. Juventus host many star-studded and world-class midfielders including Miralem Pjanic and, a player which all Arsenal fans know well, Aaron Ramsey.
Adrien Rabiot could act as the replacement Arsenal fans have been waiting for a few years since Ramsey left. However, that’s a bold claim to make, of course.
Rabiot’s passing and dribbling are what makes him a worthwhile signing since he excels in the box-to-box role in midfield. However, one thing that he is often criticised for is his attitude, which will raise question marks for the Gunners since they don’t tend to do too well with the fiery characters.
However, Mikel Arteta must be confident enough to discipline the midfielder. After all, it was the Spaniard’s intention to bring the French midfielder in on loan this January. If he does arrive, then Arteta is not one to take the attitude, he is focused on progress and progress only.
Do you think Arsenal will sign Adrien Rabiot this summer?
