Finally, Real Madrid knows to focus their attention elsewhere from Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window…
The summer transfer window is bound to have a snatch-and-grab feel about it. That said, clubs need as much clarity as they can on their transfer targets as early as possible. This is something that Real Madrid has been frustrated about in recent weeks.
They were rumoured to give Arsenal a final warning on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whereby they wish to know about his future by early June at the latest. Rumour has it, though, they won’t need to suffer the same fate with Kylan Mbappe.
According to L’Equipe (via AS), Kylian Mbappe will not push for a move away from Paris Saint-Germain since he knows the financial implications that the Coronavirus outbreak will have on the Parisian club. In many ways, this decision should be respected.

However, this does not mean that Real Madrid must give up on him entirely. He could, of course, still be willing to move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the next January transfer window, providing his club are in a better financial position to replace him, of course.
Mbappe is one of the hottest prospects in world football and if anything, this news should attract Real Madrid fans to him more. He seems to be a respectful player no matter which club he’s at, and he knows he can succeed pretty much anywhere.
That said, he would surely be a loyal player when he arrives at Real Madrid, too. After all, there aren’t many better destinations than the football capital.
Kylian Mbappe is bound to be an expensive player. I mean, this goes without saying, really. Consequently, this could be seen as a blessing in disguise. It gives Real Madrid the time to be honest with themselves because I really don’t think this summer was ever the time for blockbuster deals like this to happen.
Do you think Real Madrid will ever sign Kylian Mbappe?
