5 players Inter Milan should sign during the summer transfer window

We are still waiting to find out when Inter Milan will get the chance to bounce back from their 2 match losing streak.

However, that shouldn’t stop us from looking forward to the moves they need to make for next season as we wait to find out if there will even be any more of this season. So, let’s take a look at which players Inter should be trying to sign this summer.

Sandro Tonali

Inter is set to battle Juventus for the signature of Sandro Tonali this summer as we receive conflicting reports on who will actually land the talented young midfielder. It is of great importance for Inter to be the one who wins this battle.

Last summer, Inter managed to sign the young Italian midfielder who had everybody’s attention, Nicolo Barella. If they could pull it off again this summer and sign Tonali, then they could have one of the strongest cores of youngsters in the world in their midfield. The combination of those two and Stefano Sensi would make sure Inter would be a top 4 contender for years to come.

This move is also important because it would stop Juventus from signing Tonali themselves. The midfield has been Juve’s biggest issue for a few years now and as long as Juve doesn’t fit that issue, Inter will continue to have a clear path to dethroning the Italian Champions. Signing Tonali would give them a clear edge they could exploit in the pursuit of next season’s Scudetto.

While Inter’s biggest competition, Juventus, continues to make short-term moves in pursuit of success, Inter needs to continue making these smart signings of younger players to put themselves in position to win both now and in the future.
