4. Justin Kluivert

Of all the options I have addressed in this post, I think Justin Kluivert strikes me as the most attractive. It would entail a swap-deal, I assume, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way. It would be a win-win for both clubs too, since Mkhitaryan impressed on loan at Roma but the Italian club don’t have the funds to sign him, so this would give them a nice option.

However, Arsenal would probably have to include some funds if they were to swap Mkhitaryan for Kluivert, since the 21-year-old has had an impressive season and is considered in Roma’s future plans. Still, it’s surely worth an offer since the Gunners have nothing to lose.

5. Bukayo Saka

Amid all this uncertainty, it’s easy to forget that we have an upcoming winger waiting to be returned to his position in Bukayo Saka. The young Englishman was forced to play as a full-back to sill the void left by injuries.

Should Arsenal fail to sign Willian, then there’s no need to be hysterical. Now that Kieran Tierney has returned from his injury, Bukayo Saka could easily return to boss his more natural position on the wing.
