He’s going to be a Real Madrid player for eternity…
The summer transfer window is fast approaching which can only mean one thing; Gareth Bale‘s name making the headlines. It’s a common theme in every transfer window, but to no good effect since he always seems to remain a Real Madrid player.
And fans have every right to grow frustrated, especially if his performances continue to decline like they have done this season. 2 league goals all season for a player of his calibre is simply ridiculous, but then again, I suppose still considering him in a high calibre is also ridiculous of me.
The truth is harsh, I know this. But Gareth Bale hasn’t been anywhere near a great player for as long as I can remember. It just seems like he’s only interested in garnering as much money as possible, which is perhaps the reason why he’s so difficult to sell.

He is one of Real Madrid’s highest-earning players, which in itself shows an inequality. There are dozens of young and upcoming players and Real Madrid who will feel hard done by to see Bale earning as much as he does when he doesn’t even show on the pitch that he wants to play. I’m sorry, it’s just disheartening.
According to a new report from Marca, Real Madrid have received no offers for Bale and they expect him to stay at the club for another year. Hooray.
It’s a shame that it’s come to this, but it seems like the best option for Real Madrid is to let his contract run down because they’re really going to have no luck selling him. No club in Europe is stupid enough to pay his ridiculous wage demands, so in 2022, Real Madrid will finally be free of the onus.
Do you think Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid before his contract expires in 2022?
