3. Harvey Elliott

Harvey Elliott moved to Merseyside in the summer of 2019 after becoming the youngest Premier League debutant at the age of 16 years and 30 days. Now at 17 years old, he’s looking to fulfil a boyhood dream of becoming an integral player in the Liverpool team.

A promising midfielder, whom Liverpool fans have seen so far in bit-part performances out on the wing. His pace, ability to put in a dangerous cross into the box and acrobatic flair are all promising signs of a future star.

So far for Liverpool’s under-23’s, Harvey has played 13 times managing to score 3 and assist 4. However, he has still yet to break his duck for the first team. This is likely just because of the pressure to live up to the weight of expectation placed upon the teenager.

Despite how paradoxical this is to say, I believe Harvey could progress onward to be a potential replacement for either Salah or Mane if continues on his current trajectory. On the other hand, Elliott will have to work hard on his finishing as well as his physicality if he is to become a true threat in what is widely regarded as the toughest league in World football.
