4. Rhian Brewster

Rhian has quickly progressed through the Liverpool academy ranks. Upon his debut for the under-23s, he scored against Ipswich Town.

He then went on to play a major part in aiding the England under-17s to win the World Cup, finishing the tournament as top scorer with 8 goals. However, his 2017-18 season ended with a long term injury as a result of suffering ligament damage.

Upon his recovery, though, Rhian made 3 first-team appearances before joining Swansea City on loan for the second half of the 2019-20 season.

So far the 20-year-old has proved to be very productive in the Championship for the Welsh side, starting 10 times and scoring 4 times. Watching him play in Championship and we begin to see why Jürgen Klopp values Rhian so highly.

A young, hungry striker with pace, good vision, a decent passing range and steely determination to match all of the above. His ability to dribble well and his developing knack for being in the right place at the right time to score a goal is exactly what you want to see

At this stage, we’re beginning to see what Brewster could potentially become for Liverpool – a striker with pace, an eye for goal and the intelligence to read the game.

Liverpool and England fans alike, for now, will watch the development of his career with great interest.
