Paris Saint-Germain add another member to an already potent front line.
The future of Mauro Icardi at Paris Saint-Germain was put in doubt due to the coronavirus and the fact that he has not been able to take the starting spot away from Edinson Cavani.
The turbulence on display with Inter Milan decreased during his time with the French side but that risk was always there given the outspokenness of his wife/agent, Wanda Icardi.
But, according to The Guardian, PSG and Inter Milan have reached an agreement over the services of the Argentine striker. PSG are set to pay €50 million plus €7 million in add-ons for Icardi. When he went on loan, the club had an option to sign him for €70 million but were able to get him for less than that.

Icardi joined PSG this past season from Inter Milan following a fallout between him and the Italian side that saw him be stripped of his captaincy. His fate looked to be sealed once Antonio Conte took over as manager and they brought in Romelu Lukaku.
In addition to the fee and the add-ons, Inter made sure to include a very specific clause. According to Goal, Inter included a so-called “anti-Juventus” clause of €15 million that would need to be paid to Inter should PSG sell him to their bitter rivals.
At PSG, he’s been used more coming off the bench as Cavani is still largely considered the starter. But Icardi did contribute some key goals on their way to another Ligue 1 title.
While the domestic season may be over, PSG are waiting to see what happens with regards to the Champions League. They were one of the few to complete their round of 16 tie that saw them knock out Borussia Dortmund.
If the competition gets back underway, then they would still need to wait to see who their next opponent would be.
Icardi has scored 12 goals in 20 Ligue 1 games and scored five times in six Champions League games. With Cavani set to depart next season, Icardi could very well find himself leading the line alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
