Liverpool is back, and ready for it all over again.

With the summer transfer window fast approaching, several key themes tend to be cropping up. Earlier on last month, it was rumoured that Liverpool wanted to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, however, they pulled themselves out of the race due to the asking price in excess of £100m being too high.

However, now the Reds are back and they’re showing a keen interest in Sancho all over again. According to the Independent, Jurgen Klopp is keen on challenging both Manchester United and Real Madrid to the signing of Sancho.

It’s clear to see why many high-profile clubs are interested in signing Sancho. His goals and assists have proven pivotal to Dortmund in them claiming the second spot. While it doesn’t look likely that they’ll catch up with Bayern Munich this season, Sancho should still be applauded for his workload.

Liverpool hopes to finish the season strong and claim their first Premier League title since it was rebranded before the turn of the new century. That said, they won’t be too involved in transfer business between now and the end of the season, because unlike Manchester United, they have a league title in sight.

However, the news should still come as positive to fans. It shows that Klopp is not being complacent and the board recognises the shouts from the fans. They will understand the hardship of trying to do business in a crashed market, however, the effort is what will matter the most.

Sancho may have a hard time getting into the XI, but one thing can be said for certain, Klopp would give his utmost into remoulding his starting XI in order to boost Sancho’s chances of progression. He is simply that worthwhile as a player.
