With several transfer rumours being linked with Chelsea, let us take a look at how the lineup will look next season

Despite overturning a transfer ban, Lampard was unable to get the right players for his team during January window. But Chelsea fans can be sure he has studied his squad’s limitations by now and will go all out this summer to secure their targets.

The signing of Hakim Ziyech was the first sign of intent from Lampard. Chelsea have been linked with high-profile targets such as Jadon Sancho, Moussa Dembele, Alex Telles and Phillipe Coutinho.

Taking all these targets into consideration and assuming Chelsea manage to seal the transfers this summer, let’s take a look at a bolstered squad for 2020/21 Premier League season.

Goalkeeper: Andre Onana
Kepa made a move to Stamford Bridge from Athletic Bilbao as the most expensive goalkeeper for €80 million. He made his Premier League start in a 3–0 win against Huddersfield Town, going on to keep six clean sheets in a 12 match unbeaten run.

He was also their penalty shootout hero guiding them to UEL final. But Kepa has struggled to maintain a similar form and has a poor save percentage of 50% this season. He has conceded 32 goals in 25 games bringing down his market value to 32 million.

Targets include Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Nick Pope but the most likely player to replace Kepa would be Andre Onana from FC Ajax. The Cameroonian international has kept 8 clean sheets and has been a revelation since his last year CL heroics. He has a better save percentage of 71% conceding only 21 goals in 24 games. He would cost Chelsea around 40 million but would offer more competition to Kepa for the starting role.
