Don’t be fooled, Liverpool do have flaws which need to be addressed.

Jurgen Klopp is an excellent manager, in fact I would even go as far as saying that to find a manager better than him right now would be a stretch. Since he arrived in England, Liverpool fans have noticed the progress he’s made, even though they may have culminated over many seasons. Now they are champions of Europe and Premier League champions-elect.

However, one thing Klopp is not is complacent. The German manager is not the type to rest on his laurels and if a problem arrises, you better believe he’s not going to overlook it. He won’t pass the blame either, all he wants to do is fix the problem and then worry about why it arose after it’s fixed.

One of Liverpool’s main flaws is in their attack, or better put, beneath their attack. Yes, they have arguably the best front three in world football, but they barely have anything to back them up.

More from Liverpool FC

Divock Origi is the perfect plan B, yes, but who else is there? Xherdan always seems to be injured Shaqiri? Alex seems to think he’s a midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain? Note: I am a big fan of those two players, but they’re hardly available for selection to be frank.

This is why it’s good to see recent news from the Sunday Mirror. The English outlet claims that Liverpool have enquired about signing the Wolves forward Adama Traore, who has impressed in the English top-flight this season.

Adama has been one of the better performers this season and it’s largely thanks to his work, alongside the longs of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota, of course, that Wolves find themselves in a top-six place this season.

Adama is known for his electrifying pace and ability to shimmy past his opposing full-back, before either cutting inside or playing in a cross to Jimenez. Either way, Adama is known to be one of the best dribblers in the league for a reason, and it’s for this reason that he would be an excellent candidate to add depth to the Liverpool attack.
