Manchester United revive interest in this Paul Pogba replacement
By Kian Long
Manchester United fans will know the name very well.
Frustratingly for Manchester United fans, they seem to be an easy target in the transfer window. It’s a common theme to see them linked with a multitude of names, many of which unrealistic. However, among those trends, one in particular emerges as the most prevalent.
And this is the hunt for a new midfielder, in order to replace the seemingly departed Paul Pogba. With the Frenchman linked with a move to Real Madrid, many outlets believe this summer is the perfect time for that to happen.
This leaves Manchester United in a complicated position. Of course, they need to sell him, particularly if he is showing signs that he wants to leave. The last thing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs in his project is for a negative atmosphere in the dressing room, fueled even further by the media.

According to the Sunday Times, the Red Devils have revived their interest in Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Donny van de Beek in order to replace Paul Pogba. The 23-year-old is always a hot topic of discussion in any transfer window, so fans will be familiar with his name.
Van de Beek is a promising contender to replace Pogba since they share many of the same traits. Where Pogba likes to burst forward with the ball at his feet to bridge the gap between midfield and attack, the Dutch international also carries out this box-to-box role.
That said, Manchester United would not need to adjust their system much and they wouldn’t need to worry about the tactical nature of signing van de Beek. He would slot straight into the United XI without any worries, the only focus would be on whether or not he can transcend his form into the Premier League.
