Arsenal will face Manchester City on their Premier League return.

The Premier League is BACK! Well, not quite yet, but it will be, with Arsenal facing Manchester City in one of the first matches back. The two giants will face off on the 17th of June, as it is a game-in-hand for both sides so it is all to play for.

The Arsenal players will feel over the moon to have football back, as they were hitting some good form before the pandemic and they were one of the first clubs to begin secluded training sessions. Here are 5 players in particular that will benefit from the return of Premier League football.

5. Kieran Tierney

The Scotsman was nearing his return to full match fitness before the pandemic struck but now he will feel excited to get back to it under the new boss Mikel Arteta. The two seem to have a healthy working relationship, with fans excited to see their praise pull through.

Kieran Tierney has a lot of work on his hands to win his spot back in the starting XI, with Bukayo Saka filling the full-back role expertly before the break. Still, the Scotsman was signed for this reason, so he’ll be very excited to showcase his creative and defensive exploits once more.
