A look at how Mikel Arteta could lineup his Arsenal squad next season.

This season has been very hit and miss for Arsenal, for numerous reasons. Even before the Coronavirus pandemic, the Gunners struggled to gain momentum in the first half of the season. Undeniably, this was down to their managerial position being occupied by Unai Emery, who didn’t know how to use the players to the best of his ability.

This was shown immediately when Mikel Arteta was unveiled as the new manager, as the performances took an immediate turn, accompanied by improvements in individual performances. That said, Arsenal fans can look forward to a more promising season next time around, once this season is finished with, of course.

Without further ado, here’s how I think Arsenal will lineup next season…

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

I don’t think Arsenal fans realise quite how lucky we are to have Bernd Leno. Of course, this is because the defensive displays can leave us looking poor in this department at times, but Leno is usually there to save the day.

Thankfully, it doesn’t look likely that Leno wants to leave, nor is it likely Arsenal want to sell him. So we are sorted between the sticks, and let’s hope the German continues his fine form into next season, as I dread to think where we would be in the table if it wasn’t for Leno.
