Right-winger: Nicolas Pepe
Nicolas Pepe is the one player who will be hoping for a more positive second season and so will the fans. However, I have no doubt in my mind that this will be a more fruitful season for him. He has shown many signs of progression and his onfield demeanour is usually very positive.
Pepe is one of the best dribblers in the league and his close control allows him to skilfully beat his man, but this season will be all about improving his end product, which Arteta will help with no doubt.
Striker: Alexandre Lacazette
I think you can sense where this one is going. Alexandre Lacazette will be given a permanent place in the XI, and in all honesty, I cannot deny that he deserves it. Lacazette is a hard-working striker that, while his goal tally isn’t always the best, provides a lot to the team which is rare in a striker. He is more than simply a goal scorer, he is a team player too.
Left-winger: Ryan Fraser
Farewell to Aubameyang, welcome Ryan Fraser. Of course, we are going to miss Aubameyang’s goal tally, but Ryan Fraser could be the perfect option to boost Lacazette’s chances in front of goal.
Fraser is a creative winger that has provided assists for the last few years, helping Bournemouth climb the English ranks. If he can do this with a struggling and seemingly down-and-out Bournemouth side, then imagine how he can transform Arsenal.
How do you want Arsenal to line up next season?
