4. Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta loves the game. There’s no denying it, it’s in his DNA, he simply loves to play football. That said, he will greatly benefit from returning to the pitch. Ageing at 30 years old, he is still yet to lose a yard of pace, but this also means he wants to get as much game time as possible before his age inevitably leads to deterioration.

I can recall Azpilicueta being very impressive in Chelsea’s last match against Everton and even more so against their Merseyside rivals Liverpool in the match beforehand.

3. Kepa Arrizabalaga

There has been a lot of talk about Chelsea signing Andre Onana this summer, which leaves Kepa Arrizabalaga‘s place in the starting XI in doubt. Obviously, he will have options to play elsewhere, but if he does want to remain at Chelsea, then these last few months will be important to him.

The Spanish shot-stopper is known to be a fiery character, but one thing you can’t take away from him is his work ethic. He wants to be a fan favourite whenever he is on the pitch, and against Liverpool in the FA Cup, he was particularly terrific.
