2. Mason Mount

Mason Mount has had a topsy-turvy season so far, however, he will be excited to return to action in the Premier League. He was hitting a good run of form pre-lockdown, as his cameo against Liverpool was positive and he also scored a nice goal against Everton, capping off an all-round display.

Mount is not a sure starter against Aston Villa, as Lampard may choose to rest him for the important match against Manchester City. However, if he does start, then he will provide electricity to the starting lineup, as well as creativity.

1. Ross Barkley

Many may be quick to forget, but Ross Barkley was absolutely terrific in the buildup to the Coronavirus break. He had stellar performances against the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham, so he will certainly be raring to go against Manchester City.

Barkley has a claim to make to Gareth Southgate, as he hopes to be starting in the European championships for his home country England. We will have to wait and see whether the end of this campaign will be as fruitful to him as the pre-lockdown run-in was.
