LM: Ashley Young

Antonio Conte has a few January signings at his disposal for this match, but I think there’s only one that he’s going to use in this match. That one is Ashley Young. Inter brought him to take this spot from Kwadwo Asamoah and he was immediately thrust into this starting role. I don’t see any reason to believe the hiatus changed that, so we should expect to see Young get the start on Saturday.

CM: Stefano Sensi

Before he suffered his injury early in the season, Stefano Sensi was playing some of the best football in Serie A. It was a big surprise considering he wasn’t even the most hyped midfield signing of last summer for Inter and they certainly missed him while he was unavailable. Now he’s back and Inter should be starting him as frequently as possible. If he gets back to the same level he was at early in the year then Inter’s attack becomes much more dangerous and Napoli should be no match for their squad.

CM: Nicolo Barella

Nicolo Barella was the big midfield signing of the summer for Inter, but he hasn’t quite lived up to the hype yet. However, that shouldn’t stop Inter from giving him regular starting opportunities the rest of the way. That should give us a much better look at what he’s capable of down the stretch. If he turns into the player everybody thinks he can be then Inter is well on their way to building a terrifying young midfield to match their defense.

CM: Marcelo Brozovic

As Inter Milan has dealt with injuries and the integration of new players, there has been one constant in their midfield. That constant is Marcelo Brozovic. He has started easily the most matches of the year in Inter’s midfield and is the only player in this midfield who they know what they’re going to get out of him every time out. That should be enough to get him the start here and should keep him strongly in consideration to start throughout the rest of the season even with Christian Eriksen added to the mix.

RM: Antonio Candreva

This position has been a bit of a revolving door for Inter Milan this season. First, Antonio Candreva and Danilo D’Ambrosio battled it out for the starting job. Then, Inter added Victor Moses during the  winter transfer window to potentially take over the job. I’m not entirely sure who will end up with the starting job or if Antonio Conte is planning to steal a page from NFL’s playing and run a RBBC (right back by committee), but for this match the rumors are pointing to Candreva getting the nod on Saturday. It’s not the most inspiring option, but he’s a veteran presence that Conte will likely be looking to for some stability.
