ST: Lautaro Martinez

You know a player is having a pretty great season when they start getting linked with a move to Barcelona and Lautaro Martinez is absolutely deserving of such lofty rumors. His 11 goals and 7 assists have been a major improvement over his output from last season and have Inter fans almost completely forget that Mauro Icardi ever even existed.

He has been very impressive and Inter should be doing everything in their power right now to convince him to stick around. There’s no question that he’s going to start every match possible down the stretch this season and Saturday’s Coppa Italia match should be no different. Now we just have to see if he returns from hiatus in that Barcelona worthy form.

ST: Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku has been worth every penny for Inter this season. His 17 goals have him firmly entrenched in the league’s top 5 scorers and he has helped keep Inter near the top of the table in spite of the fact that he doesn’t get much help on the scoring front from anybody other than Martinez. Lukaku is beginning to look like an absolute steal after complete a full 180 from his disappointing end to his Manchester United career.

He has already established himself as one of Italy’s most dangerous strikers even in a lower scoring attack. Inter is going to need goals in this match to advance and there are very few players in the world right now who are more likely than Lukaku to snag a double to help his club advance.
