LB: Alex Sandro 7.5/10

I haven’t been particularly thrilled with Alex Sandro’s attacking efforts throughout the season and it’s easy to assume that I’d feel the same way after such an awful attacking showing from Juve, but that’s not the case here.

Sandro was actually regularly engaged in the Juventus attack in this match and regularly kept the pressure on Milan. It didn’t end up producing anything for Juve, but if Sandro can consistently play like this, then it should help Juve’s attack reach a new level down the stretch of the season. Hopefully this performance wasn’t another one time thing for Sandro.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci 6/10

Neither of Juve’s center backs really stood out in this match, but that didn’t have much to do with either of them. Juve controlled possession throughout the match and Milan rarely posed a threat. It’s rare for center backs to stand out against a short-handed squad, so I won’t hold it against either of Juve’s. Bonucci once again did well as the leader of this squad, but there wasn’t much else to this.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt 6/10

Matthijs de Ligt was in the same situation as Bonucci in this match, which made it difficult for him to stand out either. In fact. the most noteworthy moment for de Ligt was when he came down hard on the shoulder he previously injured this season. Luckily, it didn’t seem to aggravate the previous injury, so Juve will once again be able to call on him in the final. He should have a much better chance to stand out in that match.

RB: Danilo 7/10

Danilo never really took hold of the opportunity to be Juve’s starting right back this season, but Sarri gave him a shot at the starting lineup and he played one of his better matches of the year. Like Sandro, he helped keep pressure on Milan from wide positions and advance the attack. If Danilo continues to play like this then this positional battle could get much more interesting.
