2. David Luiz
I am calling David Luiz to the forefront not only because of his immense experience in games like this but also because he was the best defender for Arsenal pre-coronavirus.
The Brazilian international felt revitalised under new management. Although the fans have yet to see a full season from him, it can be said with great certainty that Mikel Arteta has done a better job with the centre-back than Unai Emery did. We can only hope this continues to be the case after the break.

1. Bernd Leno
Make no mistake about it; Bernd Leno is always the most important player on the pitch for Arsenal. Perhaps this says a lot about their shambolic defence, however, it’s nice to know that fans can feel safe in the hands of Leno.
Leno is a goalkeeper that can save the Gunners many points a season with his fine performances between the sticks. He makes saves that not many keepers can, and he saves the skin of many defenders after they’ve made an error leading to goal. I dread to think where we would be in the table if it wasn’t for Leno.
It’s this kind of player that will serve the Gunners well in the final rundown of the season.
