This is a tough one because Liverpool currently looks like a side with no chinks in their armour. The Reds need just 2 more games to be crowned Premier League champions and have lost just one game this season.
Coutinho has endured a disappointing two and a half years since he left Liverpool, failing to make much of an impact at Barcelona first, and then at Bayern Munich. But he has played the best football of his career to date in the red shirt. If there is one type of player that Jurgen Klopp does not have in his squad right now, it is a midfield creator.
Liverpool has proven to be adept at playing in a 4-3-3 formation, and have also played 4-2-3-1 at times, and the Brazilian would be at home in both systems. With Firmino dropping off to combine with his compatriot, and Sadio Mane and Mo Salah making runs in behind for them to pick out, Liverpool could become even more potent in attack if that’s even possible.
