1. Paul Pogba
The most polarizing player in the modern history of the Red Devils has arguably been Paul Pogba. He is also their most talented player and the only one on the squad that could be considered world-class.
He is the other United player at a career fork in the road.
The enigmatic French star’s relationship with United can best be described as contentious. Whatever this has been fueled by Pogba himself, his agent, or by the media, is open to as much interpretation as any episode of Black Mirror.

The biggest issue with the 27-year old this season has been injuries. As a result of an ankle injury sustained in August, Paul has only appeared in eight matches logging in 642 minutes.
He was reportedly ready to return to action in March; however, this as with everything else got put on hold.
Last season, the French World Cup champion, had his most productive season as a professional knocking in 16 goals and adding 11 assists leading the club in each category. He also led in key passes, passes into the penalty area, progressive passes, and passes in the final third.
Paul’s most important attribute is his ability to thread the ball to players in a position to score. His assist conversion rate of +3.9 last year was outstanding.
Supporters have been salivating like a dog eyeing a rib-eye steak at the idea of watching Fernandes and Pogba together on the pitch feeding balls to a combo of Rashford and Martial.
The re-start provides Pogba the perfect opportunity to prove his detractors wrong and to show the world that he is still an elite player, regardless of whether he stays or goes at the end of the season.
