Chelsea: 3 players who could replace free transfer Willian

Chelsea must prepare for life without Willian.

As a fan, it’s never nice to see one of your players leave for free. Trust me, as an Arsenal fan, I have experienced this all too often. This is why I resonate with Chelsea fans when it comes to Willian, but I’m certain their board will have some replacements lined up. After all, the Blue side of London is much more organised than the red side, it pains me to say.

Here are three players that I could see joining Stamford Bridge this summer to replace Willian.

3. Adama Traore

Previously playing for Barcelona, Adama Traore has experience playing at the top level. That being said, let’s not forget that Wolves have been playing at a high level this season, as they have been competing in the Europa League while sitting in sixth in the Premier League table.

The Wolves winger is electrifying with the ball at his feet and he is no stranger to beating his man out wide. This is one area which Willian excels at, so he would act as a direct replacement in this regard. In fact, I would even go as fas as saying Adama would be an upgrade since I dub him as one of the best dribblers in the league. Lampard would surely be tempted by this proposition.
