If Chelsea can somehow cough up the funds, and justify themselves in doing so, there’s absolutely no reason why they shouldn’t sign Jadon Sancho this summer. The Borussia Dortmund forward is one of the best young players in the world and he will be highly sought-after, so if Chelsea can beat others to the top, then why not?

Sancho is a serious talisman, both in terms of goals and assists. This is what makes him an attractive player, because even at a young age, he has the end product that many spend their entire careers trying to chase.

With Bayern Munich now confirmed as Bundesliga champions, Sancho doesn’t have much to fight for in the remainder of the season. Truth be told, it doesn’t look like BVB will challenge for domestic silverware in the near future.

Sancho will want more than this, and his answer may rest in his home country. Of course, this will give him more of a spotlight to England fans who will undoubtedly be cheering his name at Euro 2021. Playing in England and being more familiar with some of his teammates, including Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham, will do him the world of good.

So, could Chelsea pursue their second Bundesliga signing this summer? Only time will tell, but there’s no denying they’ve shown interest in the young Englishman before.
