Serie A is scheduled to return on June 20 where Lazio will be hoping to push Juventus right to the wire

With Juventus sitting on top of the table by a solitary point ahead of Lazio and having advanced to Coppa Italia final, let’s take a look at the players that will be looking to consolidate their place in Sarri’s side once Serie A resumes.

Juventus should be as close to full squad depth as they have been all season, with only Merih Demiral still missing due to injury. That should enable them to use the 4-3-3 formation preferred by manager Maurizio Sarri.

With the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot, De Sciglio, Bernadeschi and Sami Khedira being linked with moves away from Turin due to lack of game time or form, this restart provides them with an opportunity to show their worth to fans and the club.

#5 Federico Bernardeschi

Federico Bernardeschi will look to return to the starting lineup in the Juventus attack against Bologna. His most remarkable performance was in the second leg Champions League comeback against Atletico Madrid. Bernardeschi did not score in the tie, but he was heavily involved in all the goals. The Italian assisted the first one and won the penalty for the third one. But it was his constant determination and his fantastic movement that allowed Juventus to win this tie in the first place, against one of the best Spanish defences.

He is beginning to be noticed by the football world and managers. Before, he was a player for the future, but he is now starting to be recognized. He is not exceptionally skillful or physical, but he is a footballer without any limits and plays with freedom.
