Arsenal has returned to Premier League action but some must return to form.

Arsenal have had a shaky restart to Premier League action after losing two games on the bounce, both to Manchester City and Brighton and Hove Albion. However, a vital away win against Southampton most recently would have done Mikel Arteta‘s men a world of good.

Some players, despite the recent win, are still yet to return to form. Here are 3 in particular who need a twist of fate…

3. Alexandre Lacazette

Perhaps the player who I’m most disappointed to see given a consistent run of game time in the starting XI is Alexandre Lacazette. In all honesty, it’s not his fault at all that he can’t find steady form when he’s not been given steady game time but perhaps this is because of something Arteta’s seen in training.

Lacazette started only the match against Brighton, none other of the three that Arsenal have been played since the restart. This was the Gunners’ most disappointing loss and truth be told, Lacazette did nothing to give Arsenal an advantage in this tie as he was rightfully subbed off.

There is more to Lacazette, I just know it. A goal against Sheffield United in the FA Cup, should he start, will do the Frenchman’s confidence wonders.
