It’s not all doom and gloom for Arsenal.

For Arsenal supporters, the aura is often negative in recent years. This is not always self-inflicted, as the media can often treat the Gunners as an easy target, particularly because big game statistics don’t always favour them.

However, it’s not all bad for the Gunners. It’s important to remember the reasons to be positive when the whole media world seems to be against you. So, from a fan’s perspective of the club, here are 5 reasons for us to be positive.

5. The FA Cup is a real possibility

The FA Cup is a trophy that has treated Arsenal well throughout the history of the competition and in fact, we are the most successful club throughout the English cup’s long history. This is why many joked about the competition being named after us when it was rebranded as the Emirates FA Cup.

Yesterday, perhaps unsurprisingly, Arsenal reached the semifinals of the competition following some late drama and a late winning goal by the substitute Dani Ceballos. Sheffield United are no pushovers, it’s important to remember.

While the other three teams are incredibly difficult (Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United), this shouldn’t faze Mikel Arteta. After all, the Gunners have beaten some tremendous teams in recent history in the competition, including all three of those (even Chelsea in the final and Manchester City in the semifinal). We really can do it if we put our minds to it.
