This Barcelona star is disappointed with how he’s been treated by club
The Brazilian midfielder is set to depart Barcelona for Juventus.
Barcelona’s Arthur Melo traveled to Turin following the club’s 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo which all but handed the league title to Real Madrid. He went to complete his medical ahead of his move to Juventus.
When rumors about a possible move first sprung up, everything coming from Arthur’s camp indicated that he did not want to leave and wanted to stay to succeed at the club. However, the Catalan side were always open to talks and eventually broke him down.
While he is disappointed to be leaving, it likely won’t be on good terms following some of the comments from Quique Setien before the match against Celta.
When asked about the Brazilian and leaving for Juventus, Setien said,
"“He’s not the first player who signed with expectations who didn’t bear fruit.”Source: Diario Sport"

Those words did not go down well with Arthur or those in camp. To them, it sounds like he’s blaming the player for not living up to expectations. It’s left him annoyed with Setien and their relationship strained.
There was speculation that he might not want to play for Barcelona any more this season because of those words and how he feels he’s been treated by the club.
But, according to Mundo Deportivo, that speculation is unfounded as Arthur wants to win a title before he moves on.
What they don’t dispel is the fact that he was bothered by the manger’s words. Yet he’s going to try to put that in the back of his mind in order to finish his Barcelona career strong before it is over.
With the league all but out of their reach that means that the only competition the Catalan side is alive in is the Champions League. When the competition restarts, they will face Napoli for the second tie of their leg. The sides drew 1-1 a the San Paolo.
Arthur arrived at Barcelona from Gremio back in the 2018-19 season and will leave after only two seasons.
