2. Lampard loves the competition
The Champions League is Frank Lampard’s most prized possession from his days as a player so he knows all about the magic of the competition. He will want that for the players he is now managing, especially considering the heavy multitude of young players that would thrive from the experience and build on it throughout the rest of their career.
If Chelsea fans can have faith in anyone to qualify them for the Champions League, it is perhaps their best midfielder and, in my opinion, the best English midfielder to grace the competition in my lifetime. Lampard’s got it covered.
1. Manchester City’s spot up in the air

Your guess is as good as mine as to what Manchester City’s ban from the competition means for the remaining teams in the Premier League. If their plea to have the decision overturned is rejected, does this mean that even the 5th place team gets into the Champions League? God knows.
But if the 5th place side does get Champions League football too, then Chelsea fans have literally nothing to worry about. I am confident they will finish in the fourth spot, perhaps even the third. However, I can say with absolute confidence that they will at least finish 5th. In fact, take my word on it.
Do you think Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League next season?
