Arsenal could replace Matteo Guendouzi with any of these 3 stars.

One of the large topics of debate currently surrounding Arsenal is the future of Matteo Guendouzi. The 21-year-old French midfielder is becoming notorious for being a hothead and this has made Mikel Arteta question whether he is the right fit for the bill going forward.

News emerging this morning suggests that Guendouzi could be on his way out this summer. According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are even considering the use of a swap deal to bring a new midfielder in.

With all still up in the air currently. let’s take a look at the potential players Arsenal could bring in to replace Guendouzi.

3. Orkun Kokcu

Orkun Kokcu is a player that Arsenal have been linked with for around a month now, with rumours hotting up just a few weeks ago, Koku is a 19-year-old Turkish midfielder who currently plays for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie

Kokcu is great at breaking the boundary between midfield and attack and he acts like the anchor in midfield in this regard. In many ways, he is similar to Guendouzi but the bonus for the Gunners is that he is two years younger and placing him in the starting XI comes at a much lower risk.

Of course, the Gunners will face competition from the likes of Chelsea if they do choose to pursue a move in Kokcu. However, offering Matteo Guendouzi as a direct replacement could easily convince the Eredivisie giants.
