Manchester United will not give up on the English youngster.

With the summer transfer window fast approaching, Jadon Sancho‘s name is unsurprisingly circulating the English press. It’s thought that there are many English clubs wanting to sign him from Borussia Dortmund this summer, with Manchester United and Liverpool the main suitors.

However, there is, of course, a big elephant in the room. Sancho is not going to come cheap since BVB value him at an astonishing £100m or even more. This is a price that neither United nor Liverpool are willing to pay.

Manchester United, though, are determined to sign him one way or another. According to a new report from inews, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not give up on the Englishman, however, they will sign him on one condition only; that he costs no more than £50m.

More from Manchester United

There is not a chance that Dortmund will lower their asking price by a half this summer, in my opinion. Regardless of the circumstance, there’s no denying that anything less than £100m would be a steal, so it’s right that BVB wants to avoid this. After all, they have no real reason to sell him this summer.

Perhaps in the January transfer window, depending on how next season goes, the German club may be more inclined to sell him. After all, I’m sure they would rather sell him abroad than face the inevitable hardship of losing another of their star players to rivals Bayern Munich.

Sancho is a rapid forward who prides himself on his ability to bag goals and assists. This season for the yellows, he bagged an astonishing 17 goals and 16 assists. To reach double figures in both goals and assists is incredible for any player, let alone to be so consistent with it at a young age of 20 like Sancho.
