#2 Jadon Sancho

Any Manchester United transfer list sans Jadon Sancho seems worthless. The speculation surrounding the upcoming England superstar over a move to Old Trafford is rife.

Given the briefings from Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund over their financial standing in recent times, the indirect haggling over the asking price is already underway.

Plying their usual negotiating tactics, Man United, via the indirect media addressing, quoted Sancho’s price not more than £50m. However, this is a usual move from the English club to gauge the optimum opening bid which could meet the financial ends of the selling club.

For Solskjaer’s vision of fast and fluid attacking football to be implemented, it’s imperative that a player of Sancho’s calibre is integrated into the United’s frontline.

With his imagination, skills, and composure, Sancho could add coveted attacking flair to United’s right side- which has been depleted of an expert wide player since Nani’s departure.

#1 Jack Grealish

Finally, to conclude this list, a playmaker in Jack Grealish could be a crucial piece of Solskjaer’s jigsaw at United. Considering the impact of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in the creative midfield, a number ten shouldn’t be a pressing need for Red Devils.

However, if we turn the clock back a few months, a drab linkup play in midfield consisting of Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira could be easily spotted. Also, sadly, Juan Mata, one of Premier League’s accomplished playmakers, is struggling due to his ageing physique.

Considering the lofty ambitions of Man United, a worthy United midfield should be able to rotate and have multiple options while sustaining the standards. To last in a hectic campaign, a player like Jack Grealish could be an additional spark to Solskjaer’s midfield that could raise the current levels.

With each passing game, the prospect of upgrading from Lingard and Periera seems saner. Also, with Angel Gomes‘ departure and Hannibal Mejbri not yet ready for senior football, Solskjaer looks keen on adding worthy competition for his Portuguese sensation Bruno Fernandes.
