After the pause in play, the Premier League has been sprinting to the end of the season. There have been five stand-out finishers since the re-start.

The Premier League roared back to life like a bear waking from hibernation on June 17th. There have been many surprising and disappointing players and teams in the last month of play.

Some players have struggled with fitness, while others have rounded into form quickly, including prolific goal scorers.

However, there has been a very select group that has not only scored goals after the re-start but has been razor-sharp surgical finishers.

As of the start of play on July 12th, 14 players have knocked three or more goals since play resumed.

Five players have been the best at finishing their scoring opportunities. They have all scored at least three or more non-penalty goals since mid-June.

An honorable mention goes to West Ham United’s, Michail Antonio. He scored all four goals in their victory over Norwich City on Saturday, which eliminated them Hunger Games-style from the Premier League next year.

The 30-year-old Englishman has driven home six goals, tied as the top scorer since the resumption in play, and has a finishing rate of +0.14.

Here are the top five finishers so far in the Premier League’s second season.
