With the FA Cup final fast approaching, Arsenal fans can feel confident.

This Saturday, Arsenal and Chelsea both have a short trip to Wembley Stadium as this year’s all-London FA Cup final is set to commence. It is a repeat of the 2017 FA Cup final, which Arsenal managed to win by a scoreline of 2-1, courtesy of a late Aaron Ramsey goal.

While the Gunners don’t have the reliable Welshman in this match, the fans still have plenty of reason to feel confident. Here are 5 reasons why I think Arsenal have what it takes to beat Chelsea in this one.

5. More to play for

The FA Cup final is always an important occasion for the Gunners but this time round, it’s even more important for them. After finishing 8th in the Premier League, Mikel Arteta‘s only hopes of qualifying for European football next season is through winning this cup final, which would grant them Europa League qualification.

Chelsea, on the other hand, secured their place in the Champions League yesterday with a comfortable win over Wolves. That said, while Lampard will put a lot of effort into beating his London rivals, the price they pay for the loss won’t be nearly as much as the Gunners, so we should use this as motivation to go out and win.
