#3 Christian Pulisic (Chelsea)

The Blues have to wonder where they would’ve been on the table without the American’s prolific exploits after the season reconvened. Barring the 3-0 loss to Sheffield United, the ex-Dortmund star had substantial involvement in every other game post-lockdown, scoring and assisting four times each to fire Chelsea to the fourth spot. In all, his figures stood at nine goals and six assists, despite missing plenty of games due to injuries after the turn of 2020. Now, the thought of Pulisic linking up with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech has already got the fans excited for next season.

#2 Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

Manchester United’s graph for the season would be full of crests and troughs, but that of Marus Rashford would be linear as he consistently shone throughout. With 17 goals, the striker not only helped fire the Red Devils back into Champions League spots but also registered his personal best. He even weighed in with eight more assists for the good measure. What’s more impressive is, Rashford managed to post such impressive numbers despite playing from out wide on numerous occasions, an enduring testament to his versatility, and could even guide his side to Europa League glory next month on this form.

#1 Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Much of Liverpool‘s recent success has been built on their marauding full-backs with Alexander-Arnold in particular, creating more and more history. This season, he extended his own record of most assists from a defender in a single campaign with 13, whilst also netting four goals that include two beautiful free-kicks. Despite being a defender, the 21-year old was the most creative player in the squad with the highest number of chances created as he added the Premier League title to his already stellar cabinet. A generational talent, Alexander-Arnold is most likely to win the ‘PFA Young Player of the Year’ award too.
