The road to the final has been an interesting one for both London clubs, as it could have very easily been a Manchester-dominated final. Arsenal beat Manchester City in the semifinals with Chelsea defeating Manchester United to claim their spot in this final.
In the final, there is never a favourite or an underdog. However, given how the season has panned out this time round, it’s difficult for the neutral not to favour Chelsea. Arsenal will put up an astonishing fight though as the most successful club in this competition’s history.

#1 David Luiz vs Olivier Giroud
Arsenal fans know all too well what a threat Olivier Giroud can be, especially when it comes to the big occasion. He will be eager to get on the scoresheet, as he did in the semifinal, in order to beat Arsenal in yet another final.
However, David Luiz will be on-hand to prevent him as much as possible. He will need to be physical and not give Giroud a single yard of space, because we all know what he can do in tight situations. If Luiz plays like he did against City, then he would almost certainly win this battle.
