1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

If Arsenal fans have learnt one thing from the few years they’ve spent watching Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, it’s that the Gabon international does not need much to succeed. All he needs is a little creativity, and he is pretty much certain to get on the scoresheet on a consistent basis.

He was Arsenal’s top talisman this season and he even came close to matching Jamie Vardy’s record for the season. This was mainly due to the copious amount of creativity he was the recipient of. Kieran Tierney, Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, etc all chipped in to make sure Aubameyang was being provided with chances.

Next season, should Aubameyang stay at the Emirates Stadium, then Willian would be another addition to this list. He will look to bring the ball forward and play those through-balls to match the runs of Aubameyang.

See, Willian is very good in his direct play. He is no stranger to running at opposing midfielders or full-backs and dumbfounding them. This, partnered with his ability to play an excellent ball whether from a wide or central position, makes him the ideal partner for Aubameyang.

Arsenal needed this signing. To keep Aubameyang, they need to be signing some big names. Also being in the market for the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Thomas Partey will certainly serve the Gunners well.
