Manchester United have devised a plan which could work.
Now that the transfer window is underway, Manchester United are keen to strengthen for the new season. They have UCL football in the bag, so they are hopeful this will help them in the transfer window as this seems to be the telling factor between good and great players.
One player that despite not having experience in the competition has every right to request it is Jack Grealish. The English footballer has helped Aston Villa become the club they are today, as he helped them survive relegation this season.
Villa are a club he will always hold close to his heart but unfortunately, they aren’t heading in the trajectory he deserves. He is ready for the next step up, and with Manchester United looking to add to their midfield options, this could be the perfect opportunity for him.

According to a new report from the Daily Mail, United have come up with a plan that they hope to lure Villa with. The English outlet claims they are willing to offer Sergio Romero in return for Grealish.
Of course, this would mean that United need to cough up funds because the value of the Argentine goalkeeper is nowhere near Grealish’s value. However, it’s a nice option to have given the Coronavirus pandemic.
Of course, this will come as good news to United fans. While Romero has served them incredibly well in cup competitions, it likely means that Solskjaer trusts in Dean Henderson enough to let Romero go.
And why wouldn’t he? Henderson has what it takes to replace David de Gea in the starting XI and I would even go as far as saying he should be given a shot right away next season for de Gea hasn’t exactly been stellar since project restart. More on that next.
