Left winger: Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan)
After struggling to get going in the Serie A last season upon arriving from Argentina, the 22-year old breathed new life in his Inter Milan spell this term by finding his feet again. He struck 14 times in the league and another seven in Europe, which includes his double against Shakhtar Donetsk in the semis. His menacing partnership with Lukaku has made them one of the best strike pair in Europe and his link-up play with the Belgian will be crucial in unlocking Sevilla’s rigid backline.
Right winger: Lucas Ocampos (Sevilla)
After a couple of failed stints in the Serie A, Ocampos joined Sevilla last season and made quite an impact. He registered his best-ever tally with 14 goals in the Spanish top-flight to write his name amongst the best signings of the season. Having missed almost the entirety of the group stages, he’s now proving his worth in this competition too, his pace and link-up play helping the Sevillistas see off Roma and Wolves, including a late winner against the latter.
Striker: Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan)
Several players at Inter have improved under Conte, but none more so than Lukaku, who went from being an expensive flop at United to one of the most exciting strikers in Europe this season. With 33 goals from 50 games, the Belgian is back to his rip-roaring best, taking the campaign by storm and also breaking numerous records along the way. Quite incredibly, he’s also scored in every knockout game of the competition and will take some stopping against Sevilla.
