Liverpool could finally feel the wrath of Koeman.
Liverpool got off to a stellar start of their Premier League season, in which they hope to reclaim the trophy and go two successive seasons as champions, which is a hard feat to achieve. They began their campaign against Leeds United, who put up a good fight but let it slip through a late penalty, which was converted by Mohamed Salah.
The late penalty saw Salah complete a hat-trick, which put a smile on the faces of many FPL users, I’m sure. Someone who must have been watching on is Ronald Koeman, who will probably be looking to the EPL as a way to strengthen his new Barcelona side.
According to a report from the Sunday Express, Koeman has decided which player he wants to prioritise signing and perhaps to no surprise, he has chosen Mohamed Salah. I mean, after that performance, who wouldn’t?

Koeman spent three seasons in the Premier League managing both Southampton and Everton, both of which are closely affiliated with Liverpool; the Saints due to their transfer history and the Toffees due to, well, being local rivals.
Of course, Liverpool fans won’t want to lose Salah. He always tends to help them either by getting on the score sheet himself or by helping his teammates to score goals. Either way, as well demonstrated yesterday, he is always in and around the goals.
Being a key feature of Jurgen Klopp’s project at Liverpool, he has won both the Champions League and Premier League in consecutive seasons, with some astonishing contributions in each. He would surely be worth a lot of money in the current market, so whether or not the Barcelona board choose to invest in Koeman’s plans remains to be seen, but they will know all about Salah’s immense exploits.
