It could finally be time for Manchester United to get their man.
Manchester United have a lot of scrutiny on them, due to being one of the world’s biggest clubs. They are often the centre of attention when it comes to the media culminating stories in and around the transfer window, many rumours of which turn out to be fake.
However, there has been one consistent feature of recent times, and that is Manchester United showing interest in Gareth Bale. The extent to which they have been interested remains to be seen, but they have never put forward a real case to sign him, perhaps due to his extortionate price.
This is why I believe this news can only come as good news to Manchester United fans. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils will only need to pay around £18.5m if they were to sign Bale this summer, which is an incredible bargain.

It comes as no surprise that Zinedine Zidane is keen to get rid of him, as he has suggested in the past that he isn’t part of the club’s future plans. But this is in no way indicative of Bale’s ability since on his day, the Welshman is one of the best players available to Real Madrid. It just seems like the love between the club and player has worn off and, in all honesty, it’s felt that way ever since Zidane took charge. One of those things, I suppose.
If United were to sign Bale for this lowered price, then I have no doubt that Solskjaer can get the best of him. The Welshman would also benefit from being in an environment in which he thrives; the English Premier League. He spent the prime stages of his career in England so returning could bring the best out of him again.
