17. West Brom

West Brom are out of the bottom three after earning a point from Chelsea in a 3-3 draw, but how on earth did they bottle that 3-0 lead in the second half?

The Baggies have scored five goals in their last two games, which is impressive, but their defense might be worse than Fulham’s seeing that they have conceded at least three goals in each game so far.

16. Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton were expected to pick up where they left off last season, but they are in a steep decline at the moment. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men began the season with a 2-0 win over Sheffield United on the road, but were dominated by Manchester City (1-3) and West Ham (4-0) over the last two weeks. That last result truly is a head-scratcher.

15. Southampton

Southampton have struggled in their first three games. They managed to defeat Burnley on the road, but they took their foot off the pedal when they took an early lead.

Their lack of urgency against Crystal Palace led to a 1-0 defeat on opening day, and they made Tottenham look like Real Madrid as they conceded five goals at St. Mary’s Stadium.
