Manchester United already identify Solskjaer’s successor

The Manchester United board aren’t going to sit around this time.
Ever since he was unveiled as Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was bound to be under immense scrutiny. Any person in a role as big as his would be.
And so far, the Norwegian boss has divided opinion among the fanbase. While many fans can see all the positive changes he has made since taking over from Jose Mourinho, others are more pessimistic and claim that more needs to be done.
Either way, the board appear to have their mind set on replacing him, although they are in no rush. According to Manchester Evening News, the Old Trafford hierarchy have already planned to bring in Mauricio Pochettino, who is currently unemployed, to replace Solskjaer.

The Daily Star claim that Solskjaer will be fired this weekend if the Red Devils fail to pick up three points against Everton.
The sad thing is, United fans won’t even be surprised if the club does lose to Everton this weekend. They are in poor form and don’t appear to be turning it round anytime soon. Back-to-back losses against Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir would have been less bitter if the performances were at least convincing, but they were not.
Manchester United’s new signings don’t appear to be doing anything to help Solskjaer’s case and it appears to be one step forward but two steps back, an occuring theme. While sacking a manager should always be last resort, I really do think United should fire Solskjaer and bring in Pochettino.
Poch is known to be incredible with young players and nurturing them into world-class stars. This is exactly what United need going forward, considering their multitude of young talent. Pochettino, while he may not be a short-term fix, he would be greatly beneficial to the club in the long-run and that should be the priority.
